You don’t need a big agency to get a website that works for you.

As a Boston-area website design company for small businesses, I create custom sites that look great and help clients and customers understand your value right away. Whether you’re just starting out or overdue for a refresh, I’ll meet you where you are, with the right mix of strategy, structure, and simplicity.

Before we work together:

  • You’re a little embarrassed by your website.
  • People visit your website but it leaves them with more questions than answers.
  • Starting a website feels too overwhelming.
  • It isn’t bringing in the right types of customers or clients.

After we launch your new site:

  • You have a branded, strategic, and beautiful website.
  • Your value is clearly communicated and aligned with your brand.
  • Your site guides your ideal client toward taking action.
  • You feel confident sharing your site because it finally represents your business the way it deserves to be seen!

I specialize in Squarespace and WordPress and will help you choose what’s right for your goals.

  • Strategic 6-pages, optimized to reflect your business goals.
  • Beautiful, on-brand design tailored to your audience
  • Clean, mobile-friendly layouts that guide users toward action
  • Technical and On-Page SEO included from day one
  • 1 hour training call because you shouldn’t need to call your designer for every update (though you can!).

What Else Might you Need?

Many small business owners don’t realize how closely web design is tied to other foundational pieces such as clear messaging, strong visuals, and a bit of SEO strategy.

If your website project reveals that you also need:

  • Help refining your message or writing copy that connects,
  • Support with branding visuals like colors, logos, or photo style,
  • Guidance around keywords and how to show up in search results,

…we’ll talk about it! I offer optional support and referrals in all of these areas and I’ll always be upfront about whether it’s worth adding based on your goals.

This isn’t a one-size-fits-all package. It’s a collaborative process where we build what you actually need (and nothing you don’t).

How long does a website project take?

To get started, we book you in for a specific 3 week design period. I recommend that you give yourself 2-4 weeks to complete some pre-design “homework” that includes gathering all the content for your site. During the 3-week design phase, you are my only website client so that I can dedicate my time to your project.

Week 1:

  • Kickoff call
  • Determine design visuals and branding
  • Draft homepage
  • Unlimited edits until 9am Monday

Week 2:

  • Design remaining pages
  • Unlimited edits through 5pm Friday
  • Set up functionality and external connections as needed

Week 3:

  • Final site checks
  • Review & finalize SEO optimization
  • Launch and training call
Do you offer branding or help with messaging?

Yes! I often help clients with the basics of clarify their messaging and branding as part of the web design process. When you need additional help, as assessed during pre-design, I have several trusted professionals available as add-on services.

Can you just update my existing Squarespace or WordPress website?

Absolutely. If your site needs a refresh instead of a rebuild, we can work with what you already have. Websites are made up of 3 key elements and when only one needs adjusting, it makes for a great update project. When we need to adjust multiple areas, you generally need a full site design. The elements are:

  1. how it’s put together, or designed
  2. the words (copy)
  3. the images
Are you the right designer for me?

If you’re a small business owner, service provider, or local shop owner who wants a website that feels aligned with your brand and genuinely supports your growth, without feeling overwhelmed by tech or marketing jargon, you’re in the right place.

I specialize in collaborating with values-driven businesses who want strategic, beautiful websites that are as practical as they are polished. If you value clear communication, thoughtful design, and a process that meets you where you are, we’ll be a great fit.

What if I don’t know what I need?

That’s totally okay and happens all the time. Start by booking a free call, and from there I’ll recommend either a Website Audit or a personalized website proposal.

Are there any additional costs I should expect beyond website design?

Yes, there are a few essentials, including your domain registration, CMS platform subscription (Squarespace or WordPress hosting), a Privacy Policy for legal compliance, and optional security or SEO tools. I’ll walk you through exactly what you need based on your setup and goals, no surprises.
